Okay, I have some business to talk about before I get to my “actual” review. First, as you may or may not know, I had the amazing pleasure to meet Lauren Myracle at ALA Midwinter in Denver. She was there promoting this book, and she also spoke for the BBYA kids, and she is hilarious in real life. She also signed my ARC of this book, and she wrote, “Hiya, Robbie! Hope you like it + ARE VOCAL + OBNOXIOUS about it!!!” Well, vocal I shall be, but I am only obnoxious when there are flaws, and, well, there just ain’t many in this book.
